You Don't Need Another Sign

I spent a lot of my earlier adult life waiting.
Waiting for clarity.
Waiting for confidence.
Waiting for the moment when someone wiser, braver, or more “qualified” would tell me what to do next.
Spoiler: that moment never came.
What did come was the quiet realization that no one was showing up to do this for me - and that maybe that was the point.
The shift wasn’t dramatic.
It was decisive.
Not because I suddenly felt ready.
But because I stopped waiting to feel ready✨

How to stop waiting and become your own force of change
You don’t always need a breakthrough.
Sometimes a few small places where you decide instead of delay makes all the difference.
📁 Keep a “proof I can do hard things” note
↳ A running list of moments you made a tough call, spoke up, or followed through
↳ Skim it before big decisions when self-doubt gets loud
⌛Give yourself 20 quiet minutes to think on purpose
↳ No fixing. No planning for everyone else. No scrolling
↳ Just asking, “What do I actually want right now?”
📅 Do a once-a-month check-in: “Is this still working for me?”
↳ Put it on your calendar so it actually happens
↳ The 1st of the month is an easy, memorable anchor
🔁 Swap “I’m waiting to see” for “I’m choosing this for now”
↳ Most decisions aren’t permanent - they’re adjustable
↳ Choosing doesn’t mean you’re locking yourself in forever
✍️ Before bed, name one small, brave thing for tomorrow
↳ Send the email. Say no. Start the thing
↳ Confidence grows from follow-through, not overthinking
Things don’t change when you wait.
They change when you decide✨
What’s one small, brave thing you could choose today? Hit reply and let me know!
Always,
Carolyn
